Lake Cleanup Day is this weekend, May 2nd, 2026 – Rain or Shine!
Important things to note:
Event hours are suggested, not required. Please stay aware of weather conditions and adjust your schedule accordingly for you and your team to work safely.
Official cleanup hours are 9am-3pm on Saturday, however, additional cleanups can be done at any time in the month of May.
Please note that the following dumpster locations will only be accessible on Saturday (5/02) and Sunday (5/03):
– Walnut Run
– Pleasure Point
– Magnum Marina
– Westlake Waterfront Inn, Indian Point
– W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at SML
– Gills Creek Marina
– Oak Grove Public Boat Ramp
In anticipation of rain, be extra careful of slippery surfaces and consider bringing a rain coat, extra clothing, and non-slip shoes.
If you haven’t picked up your supplies, they are ready for pickup between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm at the Tri-County Lakes Administrative Commission building, located at 400 Scruggs Rd, Suite 200, Moneta, VA, 24121.
